Managing ANGER in the class

".....disruptive behavior  in the class can pose a real threat to the learning and teaching process and often times it turns a teacher's life into a living nightmare..."

What has your experience been in this area? Comments please?

  1. To me, managing anger, whether in the classroom or at work is a situation many of us experience. Not everyone will behave or act the way we want them or expect them to. Thus, the way I have been instructed to relate to anger, is learning to give up control. I have been taught that we human beings seemingly like to think we are in control, till a situation or occurrence happens to make us realize that we were never in control of anything right from the start. So, I give up "control" of everything in my life on a daily basis to my Creator. I ask my Creator to teach me what to do. I learn on a daily basis to see myself no different from others, and that we are all sinners alike. I become more willing to listen to others.I relax and ask the Holy Spirit to take over and guide my thoughts and speech & I thank the Almighty God for this opportunity and gift to interact with Him.

  2. It takes the grace of God each and every time not be provoked to acts of anger especially on REALLY trying days.
The operative phrase being "NOT TO BE PROVOKED"!!
