Hello Dear Madam. Thank you for this write-up. I certainly think that a child's background plays a huge role in their academic performance. As a teacher, before proffering any solution, I try to ask questions and do as much as I can to ease the child's mind and calm his/her nerves. The goal is to get to the bottom of the problem, that way whatever solution offered will be holistic, leaving no stone unturned. Hope to hear of your own solution. You. Thanks
